We were quite excited to provide MSME’s in the APAC region with real tools and advice that they could use when shifting their marketing focus from acquisition to retention.
Why Retention Marketing?
The point of having a strong retention marketing strategy is to turn existing customers into repeat purchasers. What we’ve found is that brands tend to default to acquisition marketing because they might find retention marketing to be a slower and more expensive process, especially in terms of generating ROI. Acquisition can tend to bring about faster results at a lower price, but it’s worth noting that a strong retention marketing strategy is a long-term solution that will help businesses improve their bottom line.
